PRINT METHODS

When we received you order our expert printers will choose the best method for your design. We will choose one of the following options after evaluating your artwork.

Direct to Garment Printing (Inkjet printing onto shirts)

Direct to Garment Printing (DTG) is a digital technology that allows us to print vibrant, full-colour high images directly onto the garment using the latest eco-friendly water-based textile inks! DTG Printing is best used for full colour graphics with a lot of texture and gradients on Black or White garments. No Minimums or set up cost.

TIPS.
  • On Dark Shirts Best used for graphics with a lot of shaded and that blends into the shirt. Try to avoid graphics with solid bright colours on bright shirts (choose our Printed Transfers option instead)
  • Printing on light fabric will often result in a print that looks and feels better than printing on a dark shirt.

Printed Transfers

Our printed vinyl transfers are created using the latest 8 colour solvent printer. Your graphic is printed onto a high quality soft feel matt vinyl and then individually die cut to be heat pressed onto each garment. This process is ideal for graphics with a lot of bright solid colours and that have a simple clean outline. We only use an Italian made polyurethane material that is very thin and light, specifically formulated for our solvent based inks printing and cutting system.

The Print Method is REACH compliant and VeganOK certified.

TIPS.

  • Best used with graphics with a simple defined edge or boarder. Any small text. lines etc will require a border around the fine detail. Try to avoid graphics with fine detail around the edges of your art or designs that blend into the shirt (choose our Direct to Garment option instead).
